Second Cancer Risk Following Hodgkin's Diseae (HD): An Analysis of 15, 465 Patients Reported to the National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) Program.

This abstract looked at "risk of second cancers among 15,465 HD patients (119,247 person-years) reported to the SEER Program (1973-1997) of whom 5,110 and 995 survived at least 10 and 20 years respectively."
"Overall , 1,038 second cancers...and 783 solid tumors...were identified".
The largest risk was for solid tumors was female breast. Also lung, digestive-sites and buccal cancers, Karposi's sarcoma, liver, ureter and salivary gland.
"Our research suggest a persistent, longterm increase in relative and absolute risk of solid tumors following HD, with excesses observed among all age groups.
