50% of CHD occurs in people with normal cholesterol. Stress has a strong effect on cholesterol levels. (Lancet, Oct 8, 1983 p852).

Risk factors are markers like stress, vertex baldness, snoring, sleep apnea, type A personality, Apple shape (as opposed to Pear), smoking, not drinking wine.

Lipitor and drugs of its class has NOT shown to prevent heart disease or heart attacks. It causes muscle and joint pains. There are memory complications that are dose related. Weakness, fatigue, temperature regulation problems. Sleep disruption, neuropathy, and more as down side effects.

Lowering of serum cholesterol also puts a person at risk for depression and cancer.

CoQ10 has been given to people with CHD for 3 year stretches at doses of up to 2000 mg. It has been safe.
