I was diagnosed with b.c. in the summer of 1995. In July 1997 my
homoepathic practitioner started me on subcutaneous injections of Iscador,
one every other day. The injections are classified in varying strengths,
series A through G, and I was started on A through D. Each series would
consist of 10 ampoules, and I would rotate the series. After a few months,
I was doing E, F and G only. I found that G injections would cause redness,
heat, and swelling in the area of injection (about 2 inches in dia.), so my
practitioner suggested resting for a week after the G injections until the
reaction had subsided, then only doing G's once a week.
That pattern has changed a few times since then. I no longer have
any reaction to my once-weekly G injection, and I've dropped the E's and
now do 2 weeks of F 3 times a week, skip one week, do one G only, then
start over. I get the Iscador from an anthroposophic pharmacy, in
Sacramento, California, at a cost, currently, of $3.70 per ampoule. As the
years roll by, the pattern of frequency of injections may vary, according
to the state of my immune system, but I expect I shall be 'doing' Iscador
for the rest of my life.
