This poster reported a trial that has not yet been unmasked (no one knows for sure who has gotten the drug versus the placebo). This is a discussion of the trial. "Fenretinide, a vitamin A derivative has shown to decrease IGF-1 in pre-menopausal women with breast cancer and this effect is associated with a reduction of second breast cancer incidence."
